How to Teach Puppy to Stay? best and easy tricks
If you want to teach the puppy to stay, there are some important things you can do. You'll have to learn about how to use positive reinforcement, negative punishment, costumes, and props. And you'll have to be prepared for your new dog to be outside.
Positive reinforcement
Positive reinforcement can be used for a variety of things. For instance, it is a great way to train your dog to sit and stay. It works by rewarding your pet with a treat after they complete a certain action.
The best type of reward is food treats. This is because most dogs are food motivated. Your puppy will be more likely to follow your directions if it can get a tasty treat in return.
games and toys
Other rewards include games and toys. Some owners also use clickers as a way of rewarding their pets. If your dog isn't responding to training, you may want to consult a reputable trainer or veterinarian.
Regardless of which method you choose, the key to successful training is consistency. You should reinforce your pet's good choices many times. However, you don't want to reinforce bad choices. Avoid scolding your dog or dragging him along on a leash. Instead, wait until he makes a good choice.

Negative punishment
Negative punishment can be one of the most effective tools in the dog training toolbox. It can reduce the frequency of undesirable behavior and prevent unnecessary harm to your pet. If you have a pet that is constantly pulling on the leash, you may need to take some steps to curb this behavior.
To avoid causing your dog additional stress, you should not use techniques that are painful for him. Instead, you should focus on positive reinforcement and redirection. When your dog performs a desirable behavior, reward him immediately. This will help him learn what behaviors are good and which ones are not.
You can also use food lures to train your pet. When your pet is about to start biting you, yell "OW!!" to eliminate the behavior. Then, redirect him to an acceptable chew toy. Your dog will soon realize that it will stop scratching when it bites.
A dog who has been trained to sit in front of the door for attention is less likely to pull on the leash. Positive punishment is often used in conjunction with negative punishment. However, it is not a replacement for negative punishment.
Costumes and props
When it comes to costumes and props, your pet should have a safe and enjoyable time. Before you begin, however, it's important to consider what your pup's limitations are. You don't want to purchase a costume that won't fit him, or get a frightful surprise when you take him out in public.
Luckily, there are plenty of choices. Whether you decide to go with a dog-specific or DIY costume, you should pick something that will not make your dog scratch, bite, or chew it up. Also, be sure to choose a fabric that breathes well.
The trick to teaching your pup to stay while wearing a costume is to start out with simple, easy-to-manage items and slowly build up to more complicated, elaborate outfits. You also don't want to try to teach your dog to wear an elaborate costume all at once, as it could end up in pieces before you know it.
Getting a dog costume that will stand up to your pooch's rough-and-tumble lifestyle is no small feat. That's why you should consider buying one from a reputable manufacturer. These clothes are designed with lightweight fabrics that are breathable and comfortable for your pet.
Preparing your puppy for the outside world
Preparing your puppy for the outside world involves making sure you set up a safe area for them to potty. This can be a bathroom, kitchen, or another room.
The goal is to make the puppy feel safe and give it confidence in the environment. You should also try to be patient and show your puppy the desired behavior.
Until your puppy is fully vaccinated, you should keep them inside. However, you should not hesitate to take them out for a walk if you think they need to go.
When you take them out, be sure to always keep them on a leash. Especially during the first few months, puppies can get antsy, and may get into trouble. Make sure they are wearing a collar with their name on it. Also, keep their water bowls empty.
A puppy's eyes and ears are very important to watch for during training. Puppies love to explore and have fun, but you need to watch for anything that could potentially harm them.

I bought a new chew toy for my dog to help her calm down. She has anxiety and I think the chew toy helped her to relax. She used to be restless before and would run to a secluded place after seeing something unusual. She isn't used to being around people or being out for long periods of time, so it was good for her to have something that was safe, yet stimulating. Does this mean she will be dependent on the chew toy for life?
